Q: How do I apply for funding?

A: You can submit a nomination through our webpage by clicking on the Online Application button or you can email your nomination to nominations@iconelitesports.com. Please be sure to tell the story of why the person requires assistance and what would make them a great fit for Icon sponsorship.

Q: How does the nominee receive the funding?

A: All financial assistance is paid on the athlete’s behalf to the participating sports program. We do not send funds directly to the athlete or their parent/guardian.

Q: Will the athlete’s name or photo be used for marketing purposes?

A: Icon will only communicate with the athlete’s parent/guardian and participating program. We will not release any personal information on our scholarship athletes without prior written consent from their parent/guardian.

Q: Does Icon have a phone number if I have further questions?

A: Icon has no facility overhead or paid staff. Our volunteer directors all work day jobs, therefore answering phone calls throughout the day is not feasible. However, we respond promptly to inquires over email via info@iconelitesports.com. If your inquiry requires a phone discussion we will set up a mutually convenient time over email to give you a call.

Q: Can I donate funds to be used for a specific athlete or program?

A: Yes. If you want Icon to dedicate your tax-deductible contribution to a specific athlete, athletes fitting a certain criterion that would be supported by Icon or to support scholarship athletes in a specific sports program we will honor your request.
